Microsoft Teams Call Pop Up

NEC Smart WorkSpace for Microsoft Teams brings robust, enterprise-grade communications and collaboration capabilities to Microsoft Teams.

The Call Pop Up integration feature can be used to display a card within Microsoft Teams clients that will allow them to Answer or Call Back calls that ring their NEC phone. These calls can be redirected to Send To a mobile number if one has been configured for their account. Additionally, users can use their Microsoft Teams clients to Dial others using their NEC phone.

This functionality can be used from both the desktop and web based versions of the Microsoft Teams application.

The call pop up card can be customized with additional contents if needed. Contact your NEC Representative for assistance making customizations.

The Call Pop Up use case utilizes the following UIP Adapter Types:

  • Microsoft Teams Bot to display interactive call pop ups to Microsoft Teams clients
  • NEC SV OAI to perform call control for NEC phones
  • LDAP Search to lookup NEC SV station numbers to monitor and their associated email addresses
  • Scheduled Events to periodically trigger a lookup for new station numbers to monitor. By default it will search LDAP at the beginning of each hour.
