Known Issues

This section describes issues which are known to exist in the current (newest available) version of NEC UNIVERGE Integration Platform.

Component Summary Tracking #
Adapters The status of local adapters will display "Starting" indefinitely if UIP is unable to find or download the container image used by the adapter type. NAP-7321
Client Access Attempts to modify the client access system name or certificate may fail if DNS server has multiple IP addresses linked to the chosen system name. To avoid this issue, it is best practice to configure the DNS to only associate your UIP server's FQDN with the IP address used by your UIP application and Docker Swarm. The changeip.sh utility script for UIP can be used to verify or update the IP address of UIP and Docker Swarm if needed. NAP-4352
Logging Events The logging page can become unresponsive while the UIP server is under a period of heavy load. If this happens the logging events are still recorded by UIP without issue. If log data must be viewed during a period of heave load it is recommended to use the Logging Packages feature to download the log data to you client PC where it can be viewed using a TXT/CSV editor. NAP-10235
Workflow History The "Show More" details links for Workflow History command steps does not initially appear until you resize your browser window. NAP-28648
Upgrades Upgrading the Ubuntu release (do-release-upgrade) of a machine that already has Docker installed on it can cause the Docker application to stop being updated by the apt update command. Any time this is done to a machine hosting UIP or Adapter Hub, system administrators should download the latest UIP or Adapter Hub install script and execute it with a "-docker" argument to reinstall Docker using the latest version and correct its apt update configuration.
